Shed Cut List, published by WEABLE SAS, sells digital plan downloads. Payment is processed securely by our payment processor; WEABLE SAS does not store your card details.

Each purchase includes a generated cut list, panel layout, dimensioned views, assembly order, bill of materials and shopping-list spreadsheet for the size, roof, door and other options you choose at checkout, delivered as a ZIP for download and stored on your files page. You may rebuild your plan with different options within its declared range at no extra cost.

Because plans are generated and delivered digitally at the moment of purchase, refunds are offered only where the download is genuinely broken or does not match its description; contact us before disputing a charge and we will fix or refund it. Plans are for personal, single-build use and may not be resold or redistributed.

Delivery

All products are digital downloads. Once payment is confirmed, the ZIP appears immediately on the files page, generated for the size, roof and door selected at checkout. There is no shipping step and no waiting on an email.

Right of withdrawal

For digital content supplied without a physical medium, the right of withdrawal does not apply once performance has begun with the customer's prior express consent. Downloading the plan constitutes performance. The free 8x8 plan and the material calculator allow the full format and content of a plan set to be evaluated before any payment.

Rebuilds

A plan can be rebuilt with different options within its declared size, roof and door range at no extra charge, on request from the contact page quoting the email address used at checkout. There is no time limit on that request and no expiry on downloads.

Claims and applicable law

Claims may be sent to [email protected]. These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, disputes fall to the competent courts.

Procedure after payment confirmation

Use the same browser session for the first download when possible. If the payment tab redirects back to Shed Cut List, wait until the file page has finished loading before closing the tab. A normal plan ZIP is small enough to download on a home connection in seconds or a few minutes, but the exact time depends on the connection and device.

Save the ZIP to a local folder first, for example a folder named with the shed size and date. Do not work only from the browser download bar.
Extract the ZIP before opening the files. Many phones and some tablets preview ZIP contents without extracting them, which can make spreadsheets or PDF files appear missing.
Open the drawings on a screen first, then print only the pages needed for cutting and assembly. Keep the full file set unchanged as the reference copy.
If you ask for a rebuild, note the exact options you want changed before writing. Include the checkout email address, the current shed size, and the requested new options within the plan range.

Before cutting timber or sheet goods, compare the selected size and roof choice against the file name, the drawing title block, and the material list. This takes less than 5 minutes and prevents using a printed page from an older rebuild.

Equipment, file handling, and dimensions to check

A plan set is a construction aid, not a substitute for checking the actual materials in your yard. Lumber can vary by moisture, grade, and local naming. Measure the delivered boards and panels before marking all cuts.

For site layout, confirm the finished footprint, diagonal measurements, door swing area, roof overhang area if applicable, and the clear path for carrying wall frames. A small shed frame can still need several feet of open working space on each side during assembly.

Frequent mistakes and recovery steps

The most common problem is using the wrong version after a rebuild. Delete or archive old printed pages, and write the rebuild date on the front page of the copy you will use. If two sets are open on the same device, close one before printing.

If a ZIP will not open, download it again to a local folder and try extraction with the operating system file tool. If the second download has the same problem, keep the file and report the issue with the email used at checkout, the device type, and the browser name. Do not send a bank dispute before allowing the file problem to be checked.

If you cut a part too short, stop batch cutting and identify whether the error came from reading the wrong row, using the wrong mark, or measuring from the wrong end. For repeated framing parts, one bad board may still be usable for blocking, short bracing, or smaller components if the drawings include shorter parts. Do not assume this, match it to the actual cut list first.

If local material sizes differ from the listed material names, compare actual thickness and width before buying the full order. A difference of even 1/8 inch on repeated framing members can affect panel alignment, door opening clearance, and roof geometry. When in doubt, ask before purchasing all materials, using the general questions covered in the FAQ.

Special cases before you build

Permits, foundation requirements, wind rules, snow rules, fire separation, and property line setbacks are local matters. Check them before buying materials, especially when placing a shed near a boundary, another structure, or an easement. A plan download does not confirm that a shed size is allowed on a specific lot.

For sloped ground, do not adjust wall heights casually to follow the grade. Establish a level base first or design a separate support solution that suits the site. A difference of 1 inch across the base can make doors bind and roof panels harder to align.

For wet storage, animal feed, pool equipment, battery tools, or chemicals, check ventilation, floor protection, and local safety rules. These use cases may require details beyond a basic storage shed drawing.
