12x12 Shed Plans

A 12x12 ft shed is 144 sq ft on a skid floor, a square footprint big enough for a full workshop bench and storage. Front and back walls run 144 in (12 ft), the longest length that still fits a single 12 ft stock board with no splice anywhere on the top or bottom plate.

This size is gable roof only, the same span limit that rules out lean-to on 10x12 and 12x16. Each gable rafter runs 86.5 in including overhang, cut from an 8 ft board with room to spare.

Three floor skids run the full 12 ft depth with joists on 16 in centers between them. Available with a single or double door.
