8x10 Shed Plans

An 8x10 ft shed is 80 sq ft on a skid floor, adding 2 ft of depth over the 8x8 for more storage without a wider footprint. Front and back walls still run 96 in (8 ft), no splice needed; the 10 ft side walls (113 in once corner posts are accounted for) are a single 10 ft board each.

With a gable roof, each rafter runs 59.7 in, the same as the 8x8 since rafter length follows the 8 ft width, not the depth. With a lean-to roof, the back wall frames 18 in taller than the front, and each rafter runs 127.4 in, just over 10 ft, so plan on a 12 ft rafter board with offcut.

Two floor skids run the full 10 ft depth with joists on 16 in centers between them. Available with a single or double door.
